The room was amazing. It was comfortable and spacious. the bed was comfortable also, and the room was well attended every day. breakfast was great and i found the coffee was beyond compare (i really liked it). i was particularly impressed with the really good service from all the staff.
My room faced the front street and was a bit smaller. Without noise-canceling earbuds, street noise might have bothered me.

The hotel is a short walk from the metro station. i also found the famous tram 28 stopped right outside. the location offered easy access to public transport and nearby shops. It was very convenient.

i enjoyed the good choice of food served at breakfast (the pastries were especially good). the coffee selection available was lovely, and i thought it made for a great start to each day. the quality of ingredients stood out.

The building was very beautiful. The breakfast offers light food and it was not heavy. It changed slightly every morning, the fruits was different each morning and so was the pastries.
The staff felt aggressive with payment and listing rules. The room was basic. The bathroom felt sterile, it gave a hospital vibe with no cabinet.

i was not satisfied. the advertised coffee experience was misleading. during breakfast, obtaining a second cup took forty minutes. waiters confirmed my request but failed to act on it. water was not provided, a strange omission. when requested it was still not served. the service at the restaurant was poor. this undermines everything because it makes it unpleasant.

The upgrade to a suite was a good surprise. the king size bed provided really good comfort. Its down pillows were super soft. i could smell coffee roasting from the nearby chimney. i enjoyed the private balcony overlooking the garden.
tables for breakfast are limited, a bit claustrophobic.
